Master of Teaching Dissertation (Small Project 1) (P00125)? Credit Points : 30 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : EDU-P-P00125 In the final stage of the Master of Teaching programme candidates will undertake one four module equivalent or two two-module equivalent work based projects. Whichever choice is made the combined four module activity constitutes the final project. The national guidelines require that the last piece of work undertaken in the programme is such a project. By the end of the final project candidates should be able to:
Critically review the findings of the project(s) in the context of the relevant literature. Demonstrate that the professional action(s) undertaken has/have enhanced the learning of pupils and/or the ethos of the school Demonstrate that they have met the Chartered Teacher Standard Assessment Information
1. For each individual project a report will be submitted, outlining the rationale for the project, its planning, implementation, evaluation, final outcomes and reflections on the project and the process of professional development during the project. (maximum of 5000 words for two-module reports). Where appropriate, a single report may be submitted for two two-module projects.
2. A reflective submission on the professional development portfolio which has been developed throughout the entire programme: This submission should include: A claim against the Standard: a description of how the portfolio of evidence meets the Standard (maximum 4000 words) Illustrative evidence on meeting the Standa Contact and Further InformationThe Course Secretary should be the first point of contact for all enquiries.
