Acronym : MSE-P-DissFI A dissertation will be undertaken during the summer on a topic of current interest to the finance and investment community. Various types of dissertation are acceptable. A dissertation may be subject review, a theoretical essay, a numerical project, a data-based project or a software project. Examples of the aims of the dissertation are: Entry Requirements? After completing the dissertation the student will be able to:
- study finance topics in detail; - identify and and define pertinent research questions; - review the pertinent literature; - define a proper methodology; - conduct research in the context of data analysis or experiments; - structure and logically construct a report on a piece of research.
