Medieval Romance (P00434)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? In the light of this historical/chronological approach, the course questions why romance emerged when it did, the nature of its relationship to contemporary social, political, and religious ideas, and the reasons not only for its resilience and enduring popularity, but also for its ultimate decline.
