Learning Objectives
The aims of this course are to foster a sound critical appreciation of the place of research in social work, and to equip students with the requisite knowledge and understanding to carry out their own study and present the dissertation. Learning Outcomes By the end of this module participants should be able to apply research approaches and methods to an operational proposal for an evaluative study in an area of criminal justice social work. Assessment Information
Assessment for this course will be a 3000 word written research proposal on the student's subject of choice. This will form the basis of the research-based dissertation.
