A postgraduate course on the biblical, theological and interdisciplinary resources for the practice of ministry. the class will be (a) enabled to draw upon biblical and theological insights which inform current understandings of ministry and (b) introduced to recent work in organisational theory designed to facilitate in a church context the 'co-creation of learning communities'

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of the course students should be able to demonstrate in writing an ability to make appropriate use of biblical resources and the resources of aspects of organizational theory in the contemporary practice of ministry.

Assessment Information

An essay of 3000 words refelcting upon a situation of ministry (e.g a sermon, an act of worship, a pastoral or other incident of organisational/ministerial significance) drawing upon the material presented in the course.
