Delivering Inclusive and Special Education (P00554)

? Credit Points : 20  ? SCQF Level : 11  ? Acronym : EDU-P-P00554

This module has been specifically developed for teachers working at all levels of inclusive and special schooling. It offers course members the opportunity to reflect critically and constructively on their own institutional context in the light of current research and thinking on the management of education. The module focuses on the issues involved in managing the complexities and competing demands in providing education support for a range of learners in very different settings. Professionals in this field of education require to explore the tensions implicit in the management of the delivery of ideas of inclusion, for example ideals vs practical constraints, the needs/welfare of individuals vs the larger group.
