Intensive Programme (P00676)

Students prepare a discussion paper of 3,000-4,000 words on a topic approved by the Course Convenor and present the paper in one of the sessions of the IP programme.

Entry Requirements

? Costs : Travel costs to the place where the IP is organised. All other costs of the programme are met by the European Commission.

? Additional Class Information : Supervision of the preparation of the students' papers for the IP. The programme of lectures and discussions of 8 hours per day for 10 days.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Familiarity with the nature of interdisciplinary research and the variety of possible approaches in the field; awareness of the interrelations between recent political, social, cultural and media developments in Europe; ability to formulate competent research questions; development of written and oral presentation skills.

Assessment Information

One discussion paper of 3,000 - 4,000 words.
