Corporate Network Strategies (P01005)? Credit Points : 10 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : MSE-P-GIMBACNS The aim of the course is to present and critically assess key aspects and the main dimensions of corporate network strategies and criteria for assessing network options. The course presents tools to integrate and manage external relationships and develops and appreciation of the relationship between corporate network strategies and other management functions in an organisation Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : Normally participation in Management Development 1: Personal Effectiveness and Learning Technology ? Costs : Most costs are included in the programme fee, though some communication costs will be borne by the students Subject AreasHome subject areaBusiness Studies, (Management School and Economics, Schedule H) Delivery Information? Upon completion of the course the students should be able to:
- explain the main characteristics of a network strategy - display an understanding of the components in network development - analyse and critically assess network options - develop a network strategy in different industrial context Assessment Information
The course will be assessed through one group assignment accounting for 25%, one individual briefing paper (25%) and one individual project, including an electronic log of progress (50%)
