Colonialism, Nationalism & Post-Colonialsm in South Asia (P01054)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : SPS-P-P01054 This course will be team-taught and will engage critically with some of the theoretical and empirical debates surrounding the questions of nationalism, colonialism and post-colonialism in South Asia. The course will aim to cover the diversity of experience, theory and approaches to nationalism across South Asia, drawing on examples from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the Himalayan Kingdoms. Whilst topics and areas may vary from year to year the course will revolve around questions of colonial and post-colonial identity and it will highlight the continuities and specificities of manifestations of nationalism in South Asia.
