Early Gaelic and Gaelic Palaeography and Textual Problems (P01086)

Directed Translation and analysis of specific Old and/or Middle Irish Texts (class-work and directed study). Specific training will be given in metrical analysis and textual criticism and editorial practice. Palaeography.

Attendance at selected elements of the Celtic and Scottish Studies theoretical training programme.

1)Metrical Analysis
2)Editorial Practice
Palaeography and translation assignment
