MSc by Research in Scottish Ethnology Dissertation (P01812)

The dissertation will be between 20 and 25,000 words in lenght excluding footnotes and bibliography. Students will received regular supervision and will be expected to submit at least one detailed plan to the supervisor.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

To undertake independent research guided by and contributing to the theory and knowledge in their chosen field and to present the insights obtained in a manner consistent with academic standards and conventions.

Assessment Information

Students will submit a dissertation of between 20 and 25,000 words. Candidates failing to achieve 50%, but who achieve 40-49%, may be awarded the Diploma.
