The Module will build upon the theoretical, practical and methodological approaches introduced to students in P01876 Approaches and Methods in Gàidhealtachd Studies 1, turning away from more general and towards more dedicated subject-specific issues and training.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will receive further preparation and support for their research by developing increasingly subject-specific skills and insights.

Assessment Information

A 2000-3000 word exposition and explanation/justification of a theoretical/methodological approach to a suitable research topic (normally the student's intended Dissertation topic), counting as 100% of the final course mark, and peer-marked writing group exercises duly performed.
