Acronym : DIV-P-Div-P-ETS The course provides an in depth study of seminal texts in the moral, philosophical and theological reception and critique of technology. The course will involve investigation of the moral implications of the social shaping of technology and its implications for democratic institutions and religious traditions with the aid of case studies of genetic engineering, industrial agriculture and aquaculture, and communal resistance to technological change.
