MSc by Research in German Dissertation (P02052)

Students must gain an overall pass of 50% in the interim assessment to be allowed to procede to the dissertation. Candidates who obtain 40% - 49 will be awarded the Diploma. The dissertation will be 15,000 words in length, excluding footnotes and bibliography. Students will receive regular supervision and will be expected to submit a detailed plan and at least one draft to the supervisor.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will undertake independent research guided by and contributing to the theory and knowledge in their chosen field and to present the insights obtained in a manner consistent with academic standars and conventions of the discipline.

Assessment Information

Dissertation of 15,000 words to be submitted by the specified date in August.
