MSc by Research in Japanese Dissertation (P02058)

The dissertation will be 15,000 words in length excluding footnotes and bibliography. Students will receive regular supervision and will be expected to submit a detailed plan and at least one draft of their dissertation to the supervisor.

Entry Requirements

? This course is not available to visting students.

? Pre-requisites : Students must gain an overall pass of 505 or above at the interim assessment in order to proceed to the dissertation. Candidates who gain 40% to 49% may be awarded the Diploma.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

The students will obtain the skills required to produce independent research guided by and contributing to the theory and knowledge in their chosen field and to present the insights obtained in a manner consistent with academic standards and conventions.

Dissertaion of 15,000 words to be submitted on the approved date in August
