The programme of which this dissertation forms a part is intended to provide an intensive grounding in ancient philosophy, its methodology, and techniques of research. Successful completion of the dissertation will mean that students are able to:
- develop a philosophical argument at length - apply the philosophical techniques they have learnt in the taught courses - use the analytical and exegetical skills they have acquired in the study of ancient philosophical texts Assessment Information
