The aim of this course is to introduce students to new ideas and concepts of relevance to counselling practice. The precise focus will vary from year to year but we expect to include such themes as the relevance of the French school of psychoanalysis; working with pre-verbal experience; and touch and embodiment in counselling and psychotherapy.

? Pre-requisites : As for the MSc Counselling Studies. The course is available as Continuing Professional Development as well as running as an option with the MSc Counselling Studies and the MSc Counselling Studies (Advanced Practice).
