Acronym : MSE-P-CFEM This course aims to provide students with a detailed understanding of modern theory and practice of corporate finance with special reference to emerging markets. Topics covered include informational efficiency of financial markets, asset pricing and valuation models, project evaluation, financial statement analysis, multinational financial management, raising capital through debt and equity markets, cost of capital, corporate risk management, country risk, corporate governance, and practice of corporate finance. There is no text book for the course. The lectures are based on articles from finance journals and case studies.
