Advanced Sustainable Design Elaboration (P02698)

This is a studio based course that allows further development and elaboration of the work undertaken in the course Advanced Sustainable Design Project.

It would include the opportunity to use quantitative environmental simulation tools and to refine the tectonic and constructional aspects of a design proposal.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

The acquisition of quantitative skills to interrogate and elaborate sustainable design proposals

The development of research skills based on tangible scenario based learning

An ability to reflect on a design proposal and critically assess it in respect to key sustainability criteria.
