This course builds on the foundations laid in Turkish 1. It provides further development of modern linguistic skills and provides an introduction to Turkish literature. The course includes a weekly session of practice in spoken Turkish.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

To give the students the opportunity to further develop their knowledge of Turkish language and culture.

Assessment Information

Class work (15%): Regular tests and exercises.
1 two-hour interim exam: written and oral (25%),
1 three-hour degree exam: written and oral (60%).
