The course consists of the four modules which make up Archaeology 1A and 1B. Students are also required to attend a one week practical course during the Easter vacation.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

A general knowledge and understanding of: Old World archaeology from the earliest peoples to the development of the first civilizations; archaeological principles, methodology and materials.
