Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes:
- the ability to design and conduct an original piece of research; to be able to make a clear link between the existing literature and the experimental hypothesis under test;
- to be aware of any ethical issues which may arise from the work;
- to plan a major piece of research, and to recruit and test participants within the time limits;
- to succinctly report results and wherever appropriate use correct statistical procedures;
- to discuss results obtained in relation to the existing literature.

Assessment Information

Submission of a ring-bound 11,500 word dissertation
