? Additional Class Information : Weekly lectures plus tutorials in Weeks 2,4,6,8,10.

- Students will acquire a working knowledge of the rudiments of music.
- Students will learn to read and understand a musical score.
- Students will develop an understanding of tonal harmony.
- Students will be equipped with a solid foundation which will enable them to pursue more advanced music courses.

One practical project (40%) and one 2-hour degree examination (60%).
