- Use of primary and secondary texts in musicology.
- Knowledge of the principal musical, intellectual and cultural trends in the period. - Practical engagement with musical texts in the form of performance, analysis and criticism. Assessment Information
Presentation (10%), one c.3,000 word essay (45%) and one 2-hour examination (45%).
