Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

1. The course will give students an introduction to the fundamental analytic concepts involved in the study of linguistic structure of English today.
2. It will give students the technical means of engaging in the analysis and explication of English as a language.

Assessment Information

The assessment consists of an assignment and an exam, each weighted equally.
