Greek 1D (U02585)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 8 ? Acronym : HCA-1-GK1D This course offers more advanced students the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge of the morphology and syntax of Classical Greek, to improve their skills in reading original Greek texts, and to develop their understanding of the interpretation of Greek authors to a higher level than in Greek 1C. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : SCE Higher or A-level or equivalent in Classical Greek. ? Special Arrangements for Entry : This course is divided into two halves of five weeks each, with a guided reading week between them to allow for consolidation and for preparation for the second half of the course. By the end of the course students should be able to demonstrate in written examinations, in coursework, and in class discussion:-
