The Holocaust (U02877)

? Credit Points : 20  ? SCQF Level : 10  ? Acronym : HCA-3-HOL

This course will examine the murder of 6 million Jews and several million non-Jews by Nazi Germany. - The development of anti-Jewish policy between 1933 and 1939
- German plans to reorganise eastern Europe along 'racial' lines, 1939-41
- The 'euthanasia' programme in Germany
- Wartime radicalisation accompanying the invasion of the USSR in 1941
- The beginning and expansion of the process of mass murder, from mass shootings through the development of the extermination centres
