The learning outcomes are designed to provide students with learning opportunities such that on completion of the course and associated personal study they will be able to:
+ demonstrate understanding of anatomy and physiology applied to gastrointestinal nursing in the clinical setting + demonstrate the relevance of homeostasis and homeostatic mechanisms in gastroenterology + integrate the knowledge and understanding of the identified biological systems to the clinical reality of health and illness. + understand the rationale for investigative and therapeutic procedures in gastroenterology Assessment Information
