Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students should have:
knowledge of the materials, issues and scholarly debates considered in the course. an understanding of the contribution of anthropology to the study of religions in general, and South Asian traditions in particular. an understanding of the importance of perspective in the study of religions. an ability to critically appraise the categories commonly used in the study of religions.
