Year Abroad Work for Degrees in Modern European Languages and European History (U03096)? Credit Points : 40 ? SCQF Level : 10 ? Acronym : HCA-3-YAHIST During their third year abroad while studying for these combined degrees, students carry out guided reading under the supervision of a member of the School of History and Classics, and write an essay on a historical theme related to the country whose language they are studying. The essays are handed in on the student's return at the beginning of Year 4. Entry Requirements? This course is not available to visting students. ? Assessment Information
The essay is the sole component of assessment. Assessment is carried over to the fourth year in line with the standard practice for modern language degree programmes.
