In the world of business, the subject of ethics is a very important one, affecting behaviour towards others in the workplace, advertising, and sustaining the environment; this course deals with ethical issues that rise in the field of finance.

Entry Requirements

? This course is only available to part year visiting students.

? This course is a variant of the following course : BS0044

? Pre-requisites : Successful completion of Principles of Finance OR Corporate Finance OR permission of Course Organiser based on some other finance course or experience.

Mission of the Course
1] To assist members in developing a personal ethical motto
2] To examine financial situations where you need to think about
the ethical implications of your actions
3] To consider the instructions of some of the ethical authorities
4] To look at the regulations governing the financial world, and the
ethical nature, if any, of these regulations

Assessment Information

Essay (min 5000 words) 90%
In-class presentations 10%
