The course consolidates the students' knowledge of modern standard Arabic which covers the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The students occassionally read some modern Arabic literature.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

To understand and respond to writing and spoken Arabic, communicate in speaking and writing, translate and interprete from English to Arabic and vice versa.
