This course aims to ensure all 1st level students have the IT skills required for their studies within the School of Divinity.

? Pre-requisites : This course will be available (and compulsory) to all 1st level students

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of this course, students have the IT skills required for their studies at the School, examples of the skills they will acquire include:-
- Produce an essay using a word processor in the format required by the School
- Communicate by email with peers and academic staff
- Have basic knowledge of internet research skills
- Use IT software to prepare a slide show for use in seminars

Assessment Information

As this course will be a non-credit course, no formal assessment will be carried out but in order to progress through the course automated self-tests, submission of materials will govern progression through the different parts of the course. Completion will be noted by the successful completion of the modules.
