Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding of epic and Puranic literature, the development of Hindu mythology, its embedding in a historical, religious and cultural context, and the ability to write an academic essay on these matters.

Assessment Information

Essay of ca. 3,000 words. Essay 40% plus degree exam, 60%
