Among the topics will be the social nature of the self, the influence of groups, gender identities, nationalism and the city. By the end of the course students will be able to:
- understand certain key sociological concepts, particularly those which link 'individuals' to 'society, and will have developed an introductory understanding of the relationship between sociological argument and evidence. Assessment Information
