Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to
- write, present and converse knowledgably and critically on current social, cultural and theoretical issues at an advanced level
- compare and evaluate different theoretical positions
- critically evaluate texts and arguments
- embark on a self-directed programme of advanced research
- demonstrate delailed familiarity with at least 6 substantive texts in the areas of media and culture
Assessment Information
There will be one interim and one final submission amounting to 5,000 words of text.
