Course description |
The course introduces students to key concepts and methods used in the analysis of writen and spoken discourse. Students taking this course also get ample opportunities to try those methods by working on actual instances of discourse. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to
- understand and discuss critically the importance of investigating actual language use
- read and understand critically discourse analytic literature
- conduct small scale projects in discourse analysis using appropriate data and methodologies |
