Course description |
The course looks at banking in a commercial, rather than retail, context, and looks at the markets in which these commercial banking activities operate.
Topics which may be covered in the course include:
(i) the banking market;
(ii) loan agreements;
(iii) security and guarantee structures;
(iv) acquisition finance;
(v)project and asset finance;
(vi) insolvency and reconstruction;
(vii) derivatives;
(viii) bond markets and securitisations;
(ix) capital adequacy and the assessment of risk; and
(x) the future of banking. |
