Course description |
An introduction to the theory of knowledge and the philosophy of the natural sciences. Topics to be studied may include: scepticism, perception, appearance and reality, theory and observation, the problem of induction, the nature of scientific progress, Bayesian confirmation theory. This course is appropriately combined with Logic 1. |
