Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course students will be able to:
- Undertake regression analyses appropriately using SPSS;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the interpretation of multiple regression analyses;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the application and interpretation of analysis of variance analyses;
- Show knowledge of and ability to select and interpret results of suitable analytical approaches to statistical modelling, and for exploring interactions and confounding
- Select and apply methods suitable for measurement validation
- Show familiarity with the Poisson distribution and be able to apply it to the calculation of confidence intervals for standardised rates |
