Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes 
    
		After successful completion of this course, a student will have: 
(1) read and understood the key dimensions of a multiplicity of nineteenth-century works on Christology and their underlying issues and concerns; 
(2) engaged critically both with these nineteenth-century construals of Christology, and with some of the relevant secondary literature;  
(3) written an essay on one or more of the Christological positions studied in the course, engaging with both primary and relevant secondary literature; 
(4) presented in the seminar and participated in constructive discussion and debate with other seminar members in a respectful manner; 
(5) considered the implications of nineteenth-century works on Christology for contemporary constructive work in systematic theology. | 
     
 
Assessment Information 
    
        The assessment will be based on: 
10% - seminar presentation;  
10% - seminar participation; 
30% - essay of 2,000 words; 
50% - degree examination. |
