Course description |
The study of German literary texts with special emphasis on the theme of social change. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
-To build on progress made in the first year literary part of the course, deepening students' knowledge of German literary culture .
-To develop contextualisation skills learned in 1B, through focusing on reading literature in its social and/or political context
-Practising analytical skills to bridge the gap and to equip students to make eventual choices for the more specialised option courses offered in 4th year. |
