Course descriptionIndicative course content
To create an individual and innovative body of work that demonstrates an advanced ability to communicate personal ideas through the contextualisation and presentation of sculptural form.

Aims of course
1 To identify and contextualise individual practice within the framework of the contemporary art world.
2 To create work for a Degree Exhibition that is both individual and innovative which demonstrates an advanced ability to present work in the public domain.
3 To enable students to operate as emerging artists within the specialist area of sculpture practice in the professional art world.

Mode of delivery
Studio, workshop, group crit, presentations, tutorials, exhibition, project space.

Pre-requisites Co-requisites Students MUST also take: ( Research, Drawing and Visual Thinking 4 (Sculpture) (ARTX10006) OR Research, Drawing and Visual Thinking 4 (20 credit Sculpture) (ARTX10008)) AND ( Art 4: Research Project (ARTX10017) OR Art 4: Extended Research Project (ARTX10018)) AND Professional Practice 4 (Sculpture) (ARTX10007)
