| Course description | the course will consider how philosophical critiques of positivism can be brought to bear on the question of how social scientists should conduct their research developing the possible parameters of an 'interpretive' approach to data analysis. It will try to develop a contemporary and (socially informed) slant on a perennial philosophical issue, the human condition. |
