|Summary||This course is only available to ECA students on degree programmes belonging to the School of Art.
This course will consolidate your critical thinking, methods and methodologies. Through self-initiation and a motivated approach to your work supported by range of critiques and tutorials you will generate a critically informed and cohesive body of work. You will establish proficient approach to the production and context of your work in in relation to current practice.
1.To propose and produce a personal direction for your work that determines a high level of ambition and understanding.
2.To present a selected body of work that communicates critical analysis, personal vision and awareness within the context of current practice.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- You will be assessed against three Learning Outcomes and all are equally weighted:
Concepts: Identify the scope and detailed theories, concepts and principals that define of a specialized art practice.
- Methods: Utilize appropriate methods, processes and materials essential to the realization of ideas.
- Outcomes: Realize sophisticated and autonomous solutions that clearly demonstrate practical and contextual knowledge and understanding of your chosen discipline.
