SummaryThis post-introductory course is intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation Spanish Language 1 or Introductory Spanish or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE). It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of Spanish at Highers/A-level or above.

There is an identical course (Foundation Spanish Language 2 - ELCH07014) which runs in the second semester.

All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination.

Pre-requisites It is RECOMMENDED that students have passed ( Foundation Spanish Language 1 (ELCH07011) OR Foundation Spanish Language 1 (ELCH07015) OR Introductory Spanish Language (ELCH07001) OR Introductory Spanish Language (ELCH07002))
Co-requisites
Prohibited Combinations Students MUST NOT also be taking Foundation Spanish Language 2 (ELCH07014)
Other requirements If not taken Foundation Spanish 1 or Introductory Spanish: Spanish at Standard Grade (SCE)/GCSE, or equivalent evidence of proficiency.
