Summary | This course will investigate inflammation and the development of inflammatory disease, providing an integrated view of inflammatory responses in terms of cell biology, physiology and pathology.. Students will study the molecular and cellular interactions that that drive normal inflammation and play a role in the generation of specific immune responses. Chronic inflammatory processes will be studied by investigating conditions such as autoimmune disease, graft rejection and chronic infection. The course will involve academic input from both basic and clinical scientists
