    Notes:For students who wish to follow a Year Abroad programme at a European university, it is recommended that at least 20 points of a relevant modern European language course be taken.

    For students entering Year 2 of the degree programme directly (known as entry with Advanced Standing), Chemistry 2X (CHEM08018) is strongly recommended. Chemistry 2X is compulsory for students transferring into Year 2 of the degree programme with a pass in Biological Chemistry 1B (CHEM08023).

    Notes:It is recommended that at least 20 points of courses be taken from courses within the College of Science and Engineering, schedules K-Q/T and it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that students on this degree programme take Materials Chemistry 2 (CHEM08021).
