Course description | This course is only available to ECA students on degree programmes belonging to the School of Art.
This course will develop your understanding of concepts and approaches to presenting and disseminating your work. You will extend your understanding and knowledge of the social context of art practice through presentations and exhibitions. Your projects will encourage a personal approach to professional practice.
Aims
1.To develop your methods and understanding of contextual and visual presentation.
2.To identify appropriate methods of recording, disseminating and documenting your art work for particular purposes.
3.To extend your understanding of the interaction between artists and social situations.

Assessment Information
Assessment is formative at end of Semester 1 and summative at end of Semester 2.
1.one proposal for an artwork and/or an exhibition, which explains the significance of the work to the site or outlines the rational of the exhibition.
2.One artist¿s statement of 300 words.
