The course is a continuation of the pre-Hon. Philosophy of Science 1, although the latter is not a pre-requisite for it. Students will be exposed to a wide-range of topics suitable for 3rd and 4th year students: from the logic of confirmation, to underdetermination of theory by evidence, from models and simulations in science, to scientific representation, among others. |
